Meet Dr. nick m. nguyen
In 2000, I established my prosthodontic practice, providing aesthetic, implant, and complex reconstructive dentistry. Initially located in San Jose’s Rose Garden neighborhood, the practice relocated to a modern facility in Willow Glen in 2010. I also maintain hospital privileges at Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara and Kaiser Permanente San Jose to treat patients with intraoral maxillofacial prostheses.
I studied Biological Sciences at San Jose State University before earning my dental degree from Boston University’s School of Dental Medicine in 1996. During my dental training, I developed a strong interest in prosthetic and implant dentistry, drawn to its technical precision and its impact on patient function and quality of life. I completed specialty training in Advanced Prosthodontics at the University of Southern California, where distinguished faculty strengthened my commitment to treating patients with complex restorative needs. To further enhance my leadership and administrative capabilities, I later completed a Master of Health Administration at the Louisiana State University, Shreveport College of Business in 2024. I am currently pursuing a Master of Medical Sciences degree at Harvard University.
I offer prosthetic services ranging from simple to advanced, including implant-supported restorations, aesthetic dentistry, crowns, bridges, veneers, removable complete and partial dentures, full-mouth reconstruction, care for TMD-related jaw disorders, oral trauma cases, congenital anomalies, and intraoral maxillofacial prostheses for patients with oral cancer.
In addition to my clinical practice, I serve as Editor and Chief Communications Officer for the Santa Clara County Dental Society and previously served as its President in 2016. I also served as President of the Northern California Association of Vietnamese-American Dentists in 2014 and lectured regularly on implant and restorative dentistry for local study groups and Carrington College.
My personal interests include research writing, lap swimming, ongoing continuing education, and community volunteer work. My wife, Susan, and I are proud parents of 17-year-old triplets—Noah, Chloe, and Lauren.
